07

Do I have a grace period?

The grace period is determined by the state where you executed your retail installment sales contract. The grace period only determines the number of days before a late fee is assessed on your account. Your payment is still due on or before the due date. Failure to remit your payment on or before your due date will result in your account being past due and late charges being assessed. Please call us toll-free at (801) 312-0700 for more information.

08

Will I be charged a late fee?

The amount of the late fee and when it is assessed depends on the state where you executed your retail installment sales contract. For example, in Utah, if your payment is due on the 5th of each month, it must be received by the 15th before 6:00PM MST to avoid a late fee. Most late fees are assessed on the 11th day past due; please call (801) 312-0700 for information specifically based on where you live.

09

How does PAC compute daily interest?

For Simple Interest Contracts, PAC computes daily interested (e.g. per diem) as follows:
(Principle Balance x Contract Interest Rate “APR”) / 365 = Daily Interest
Example: ($10,000 x 18%) / 365 = $4.93. This is the daily interest amount, or the per diem.

10

Can I refinance my auto loan?

PAC does not currently offer the possibility for our customers to refinance their contracts in house as we are a loan originator. We encourage you to make all of your payments on time for a minimum of 12 months to build your ‘auto credit’. At this time you may apply to refinance your auto loan with a financial institution, such as a bank or credit union that you’re already a member with.

Can I request to have my payment due date changed?
